Job Summary
Monitor warehouse and customer service metrics by reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators on shipping time, fill rate, backorders, and sales performance. Ensure inventory management activities comply with procedures, including cycle counts, variance reporting, slotting, and replenishment. Oversee logistics operations to maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Provide leadership to Customer Service and Inside Sales teams by analyzing phone data, order errors, and time in presence to drive high service levels. Foster a culture where employees submit ideas to improve processes and customer experience. Hold responsibility for hiring, training, and supervising branch staff while managing department budgets and staffing. Drive coordination between warehouse, customer service, and sales functions. Position requires forklift certification and experience managing budgets or P&L statements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership position
- Experience with MS office suite
- Strong leadership qualities, including commitment, communication, motivation and team-building, pursuit of excellence, and exemplifying Richelieu's Five Core Values
- Superior communication skills, able to successfully collaborate with various internal team members and external suppliers, vendors, and customers
- Organized and goal-oriented, with experience managing Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) such as order accuracy, customer stisfaction, sales performance, and/or similar metrics
- Forklift certified with experience
- Sales experience
- Team player with an understanding of delegation synergy
- Position may require lifting/pushing/carrying items up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing budgets, financial reports, or other profit & loss/EBIDTA statements is ideal
- University degree or some college is preferred, but not required
