Job Summary
Branch Manager Trainee leading and developing a team to meet financial objectives through coaching, training, and oversight of personal and business banking relationships; manage risk and implement bank policies; requires mutual funds license and CIFP Diploma (or equivalent) and completion of requirements to assume Branch Compliance Officer role; locations across multiple British Columbia communities (Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Coquitlam, Langley, Maple Ridge, Mission, Port Coquitlam).
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a people manager
- Experience in both personal and small business banking
- Solid sales management experience and the ability to market Scotiabank
- The ability to build strong relationships focused on providing a great client experience and growing relationships with existing customers
- A license to sell mutual funds
- CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or Bank recognized equivalent)
- Completed the educational requirements needed to assume the role of Branch Compliance Officer
