Job Summary
Supervise branch operations and manage daily activities for all department managers, ensuring efficient office execution and alignment with company goals. Implement company policies, standards, and training programs while overseeing recruitment, evaluations, and staff competency to meet patient population needs. Drive revenue forecasts, manage budgets, and identify cost-saving measures across facilities, delivery, and personnel. Provide training on insurance verification, billing practices, and compliance obligations including HIPAA, while resolving complaints and maintaining accurate documentation. Maintain a motivational atmosphere by leading by example and communicating effectively with physicians, employees, and patients.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related degree
- One to three years of supervisory experience with a minimum of one-year prior supervisory experience
- Three years' experience in home health industry
- Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written, with physicians, location employees and patients to ensure questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
- Knowledge of insurance policies and requirements
- Knowledge of medical billing practices and of billing reimbursement
- Medical terminology
- Multi-task along with attention to detail
- Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
- Strong leadership abilities to organize, plan and delegate properly in accordance with size and services of the location
- Work independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- equivalent combination of education and experience in HME, home health industry or business preferred
- Helpful, knowledgeable and polite while maintaining a positive attitude
- Interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of communication mediums
- Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
