Job Summary
Lead branch operations and supervise staff to achieve sales, service, and quality objectives; develop and communicate branch service goals; expand market share through member relationships and cross-servicing; oversee lending activities as senior lending authority; support Marketing to foster SEG relationships; optimize workflows, staffing, and scheduling; ensure regulatory compliance (Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, OFAC); maintain cash controls and ATM performance; deliver customer-focused services aligned with the Credit Union’s mission; may require travel and bilingual (Spanish) communications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years in managerial or five years in supervisory roles within a financial institution
- preferred degree in Business or a related discipline
- excellent interpersonal and motivational
- communication skills
- independents operational proficiency in loans, new accounts, and member services
- at least three years of experience as a loan officer
- knowledge of credit fundamentals
- effective cross-selling abilities
- organizational prowess in high-volume environments
- strong leadership skills
- flexibility in utilizing internal and external training resources
- PC operations with Windows-based programs
- fluency in Spanish a plus
- willingness to provide staffing support to other departments/branches on an as-needed basis
- occasional travel
