Job Summary
Conduct daily security operations supervision, manage preventative safety programs, and oversee physical security investigations across designated posts. Stay current on local security trends, analyze threats, and develop emergency response plans while strengthening relationships with local law enforcement. Direct guard performance through site visits, enforce grooming standards, and implement training initiatives. Support post commanders and maintain cost controls to ensure department performance. Work independently in a fast-paced environment requiring a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in security
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managerial roles and developing and implementing departmental strategy, visions and directives
- Direct experience in a law enforcement agency followed by private sector experience
- Experience with providing support to Human Resources including on-boarding / off-boarding processes, background screening, etc.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving records
- Valid Guard Card
- CPR Certificate
- Strong knowledge of security operations and building operations with excellent communication skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to develop long term relationships with clients and employees
- Must demonstrate time management and organizational skills
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a passion for teaching others
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must have excellent customer relationship management skills
- Must be able to read and comprehend written materials, write in grammatically correct sentences, and perform basic to intermediate mathematical computation
- Computer/technological literacy
- Ability to work with minimal supervision

- Military background is a plus
