Job Summary
Oversee branch management, operations, and local promotion while selecting, staffing, training, coaching, and evaluating the retail team. Originate, underwrite, and close secured and unsecured consumer and home equity loans. Check on branch rhythms, address roadblocks, and manage daily customer conversations and problem-solving. Keep an eye on service quality, connect with the local market by watching trends and brainstorming outreach ideas, and ensure the branch remains visible in the community. Lead the team with energy and accountability to guide performance and keep customer service front and center.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/equivalent
- 3+ years of progressive banking experience
- Team leadership experience
- Strong written/verbal communication
- Solid math skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- General computer skills
- Ability to spot market opportunities
- Ability to create growth programs
- Familiarity with the local financial marketplace
