Job Summary
Lead the branch's sales efforts to uncover client financial needs through consultative approaches, delivering consumer and business deposit, loan, and investment products while surpassing individual and branch metrics. Manage the sales pipeline, conduct regular coaching sessions, and assign goals to drive steady growth and profit improvement. Oversee daily branch operations, including staff development, compliance, delinquency monitoring, and teller error control, while utilizing Salesforce and Teller Insight for client interactions. Establish external business relationships and execute Community Re-Investment Act strategies. Complete required training, resolve customer concerns, and perform special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the financial services industry
- Valid Driver's license
- Daily Reliable transportation
- Must be able to travel (i.e. to Marietta, Ohio Training Center) to attend internal education and meetings which in some circumstances could include overnight stay. Travel also required to fill in at other branches as needed
- Must be an energetic, enthusiastic team player
- Demonstrated previous sales success as an individual and as a leader
- Excellent communication, problem solving, customer service, cross selling and lending skills
- Must be a decision-maker with well-developed interpersonal skills to represent the Bank positively in dealing with clients, employees and the community
- Must possess strong leadership skills, great organizational skills and the ability to motivate and develop the branch team
- Must be able to pass background and credit standards to hold NMLS credentials
- Trustworthy and confidential behavior is essential in this role
- Proficient in basic computer operations and standard applications, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate job-specific software to perform daily tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to work individually and with others
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years' experience in a manager role preferred
