Job Summary
Direct daily branch operations, including member service, teller duties, cash management, and security controls. Oversee staff coaching, performance goals, and hiring decisions while interpreting credit union policies and rules. Develop sales and strategic plans to drive business growth through local market analysis and community partnerships. Manage branch audits, maintain organizational structure, and ensure compliance with all applicable statutes. Provide leadership during vacancies and guide staff in reaching career development objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of laws and regulations affecting Credit Union operations
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, vendors and members
- Working knowledge of Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union policies, procedures and sales and service philosophy
- Working knowledge of safety and security program for alarms, robberies, bomb threats, extortion, etc.
- Working knowledge of credit union's in-house computer system
- Ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions
- Ability to comprehend complex functions and procedures and to be able to disseminate that knowledge in a clear and understandable format to others
- Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- Ability to prepare and maintain confidential records and reports
- Ability to gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts and develop solutions
- Ability to understand basic statistics and financial data
- One year certificate from college or technical school
- Two years' experience or training in supervisory position
