Job Summary
Branch Manager Metro Charlotte District leads a branch’s sales and service delivery, coaching a high-performing team to deepen customer relationships in primary checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments, while ensuring operational risk controls and cross‐bank collaboration (Wealth & Investment Management, Business Banking, Home Lending). Focuses on uncovering customer financial needs, delivering tailored consumer and business solutions, and driving branch performance through disciplined execution, coaching, and performance management; participates in Branch Manager Readiness Program and assumes leadership responsibilities across multiple Charlotte-area locations, with travel up to 50% during the initial period. Must work Saturdays and maintain compliance with regulatory and risk requirements. SAFE registration and LO/ CFPB related requirements apply; posting notes no visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Ability to hire, coach, and develop sales professionals and direct reports
- Demonstrated ability to lead a customer-focused sales culture, driving measurable growth through coaching, accountability, disciplined execution, and taking ownership of performance outcomes, talent decisions, and risk management
- Ability to analyze performance, identify strengths and opportunities, and execute action plans that enable the team to achieve business objectives
- Demonstrated success managing and coaching across affluent, high net worth, and business customer segments
- Knowledge of banking laws and regulations, including compliance controls, operational risk management, and loss prevention
- Ability to balance growth, operational soundness, and talent decisions while proactively managing risk
