Job Summary
Branch Manager in Madison, WI leads all branch operations, deposits and investments growth, risk management, and team coaching. Focused on delivering exceptional client experiences, building lasting client relationships, and cultivating a high-performing team aligned with Chase’s culture and values. Responsibilities include implementing branch strategy using the Branch Scorecard, guiding staff development, ensuring operational integrity, and engaging with the local business community. Requires ability to work flexible branch hours (including weekends/evenings), leadership experience in retail banking, and compliance with regulatory requirements (Dodd-Frank/SAFE Act/NMLS registration where applicable). Training through the Branch Manager Training Program and travel for in-person sessions are part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of management, Retail Banking, or equivalent Chase leadership experience
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings
- Willingness to travel for in-person training and meetings
- Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators (NMLS registration) as applicable to role
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee empowerment skills
- Experience creating and maintaining a strong risk and control environment
- Proven ability to develop and mentor teams
- Comfort with technology and ability to connect teams with clients through digital tools
- Ability to build relationships with local businesses and community stakeholders
- Regulatory and compliance awareness in banking operations
- Ability to interpret and apply branch performance metrics and scorecards
