Job Summary
Direct sales and business development to meet operational objectives and annual profitability goals. Proactively prospects and grows Business Banking relationships through outreach while independently processing loan requests up to $250,000. Leads team coaching, performance management, and staffing decisions to ensure compliance with operational, security, and control policies. Takes ownership of complex account servicing and error resolution issues, reinforcing accountability for Retail and Business Banking strategies. Maintains internal control standards and addresses escalated customer problems until fully resolved. Reports to a Retail Regional Manager to drive branch success across customer experience, digital engagement, and transactions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Four (4) years' relevant experience
- Minimum three years sales experience
- Minimum two years' managerial experience
- proven leadership abilities
- Life/Accident and Health Insurance licensing
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services and client relationship management
- M&T Business Banking Specialist certification
- Work with common PC software, including knowledge of Microsoft Office software for word processing and spreadsheets
- Experience with Internet and email
