Job Summary
Lead and manage a Chase branch in Laurel, MD, driving growth in deposits and investments while delivering exceptional client experiences. Coach and develop the branch team to achieve results, maintain a strong risk and control environment, and uphold Chase’s culture of Service, Heart, Curiosity, Courage, and Excellence. Build relationships with local businesses and the community, leverage technology to connect clients with solutions, and ensure operational integrity through sound judgment and adherence to policies. Requires the ability to work branch hours (including weekends/evenings) and to participate in training programs (Branch Manager Training) with potential travel for in-person sessions. The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, customer-centric service, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve branch goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent (required)
- 2+ years of management, Retail Banking, or equivalent Chase leadership experience
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings
- Training/eligibility related to regulatory requirements (Dodd-Frank and SAFE Act experience or willingness to complete NMLS registration)
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and people development skills
- Strong understanding of risk and controls, policy adherence, and operational integrity
