Job Summary

Lead branch sales and operations by acquiring and retaining customer relationships across checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments. Coach and develop a high-performing team through targeted observation, feedback, and accountability to drive productivity and execute disciplined sales behaviors. Balance growth objectives with operational risk management, ensuring compliance with banking laws while protecting customers, employees, and the company. Partner with internal sales partners to deliver comprehensive solutions and educate customers on digital banking options to expand wallet share. This interim, nonexempt role requires Saturday availability and up to 50% travel during the first six months. Successful completion of the Branch Manager Readiness Program is required before permanent placement.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
  • Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months
  • SAFE registration
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
  • Compliance with Wells Fargo policies including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
  • Credit report review eligibility
  • Ongoing screening eligibility
  • No Visa sponsorship eligibility
  • Execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance)
  • Following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures
  • Fulfilling risk and compliance obligations
  • Timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues
  • Making sound risk decisions
  • Proactive monitoring
