Job Summary
Manage all aspects of branch operations, including client service, sales, and supervision of Community and Relationship Bankers. Develop sales goals, establish plans for workflow and staffing challenges, and ensure compliance with regulatory protocols and internal audit procedures. Direct lobby and drive-up operations, detect fraud, and administer compensation based on a pay-for-performance philosophy. Hire, train, and evaluate staff while maintaining accurate schedules and fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Participate in community engagement events and understand market trends to enhance the bank's competitive position. Requires travel to other locations and availability for Saturdays and evenings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or an equivalent of education and experience
- Three years of banking, client service, or retail experience
- Three years supervisory experience
- Excellent client service skills
- Strong leadership skills required with a desire to develop others
- Solid understanding of various standard financial reports and information
- Ability to make sound decisions and exceptions on behalf of the bank
- Capability to interpret, analyze, and communicate financial information effectively to a variety of audiences
- Capability to prioritize and execute a variety of tasks simultaneously, at times in a demanding environment
- Demonstrates strong decision making & problem-solving skills, as well as strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Capability to utilize various banking software and Microsoft 365 products, with an elevated level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Under the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 ('SAFE Act'), and as a Mortgage Loan Originator ('MLO'), this position requires registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry
- Requires travel to other branch or client locations
- Availability to work on Saturdays and occasional evenings for community events
- Requires extended periods of standing
- Requires the ability to lift fifty pounds
Desired Qualifications
- One year of Lending experience preferred
