Job Summary
Oversee branch operations and staff, managing staffing, approving hours and PTO via Kronos, and conducting periodic audits for compliance. Maintain sales by reviewing credits, managing inventory, reconciling cash, and entering sales calls in CRM while building relationships with the customer base. Drive profitability through continuous improvement, processing purchase orders, auditing cash drawers, and maintaining adequate inventory levels. Coach employees, conduct performance appraisals, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and facility standards. Complete daily and weekly checklists, safety committee meetings, and report vital information to the Regional Operations Manager. Maintain a 93% or higher audit score and work outside regular hours as required for emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years in a leadership/supervisory role
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
- Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States
- Knowledge of warehouse/inventory management and material handling equipment such as forklifts
- P&L understanding
- Proven customer service experience with high level of customer satisfaction
- Proven leadership, coaching / mentoring and team-oriented mindset along with effective delegation of duties
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High level of attention to detail and compliance and results driven
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to apply sound judgment
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and employees
- Experience leading a team of employees towards a common goal
- Ability to apply good judgement and decision making skills including strong work ethics and integrity
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
- Maintain a 93%, or higher, audit score
- May work outside regular working hours in case of emergencies within the branch as required
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC knowledge strongly preferred; or ability to quickly learn HVAC products/parts
- Experience in HVAC wholesale industry strongly preferred
- College degree strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of CRM & Mincron or similar applications is preferred
