Job Summary
Guide, coach, and coach employees to deliver exceptional service while advising customers on products that meet their financial objectives. Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, conduct sales calls, and build a strong referral network in the community. Resolve complex customer situations, monitor performance against plans to identify gaps, and lead the implementation of new programs and processes. Manage unit operating expenses, provide technical training to staff, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Identify emerging trends to inform decision-making and maintain current knowledge of personal banking and credit card industries.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services
- Advanced knowledge of competitive marketplace and trends in product offerings
- Working knowledge of branch operational processes and policies
- Working knowledge of branch technologies, processes, and performance metrics
- Working knowledge of applicable regulations, audit standards, and related policies, procedures, and directives
- Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience
