Job Summary
Lead a team of retail banking professionals by creating a customer-centric environment, conducting meaningful coaching sessions, and developing succession plans. Identify sales opportunities, schedule meetings with business owners, and manage the complete sales process from prospecting to onboarding. Establish clear performance expectations, conduct team meetings, and apply Human Resource policy for routine management and performance issues. Maintain active membership in local civic groups to network and exhibit strong public speaking skills for brand promotion. Manage branch financials, analyze client statements, and recommend financial services solutions to grow market share.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience)
- at least six years of related experience and/or training
- a minimum of three years of management experience
- proven leadership capabilities
- strength in coaching
- ability to serve as a mentor to more junior peers and colleagues
- existing relationships with business community
- proven ability to turn networking opportunities into business development
- Have a general understanding of banking financials to include income statement and balance sheet
- have the ability to manage the elements of each that are within the incumbent's control and authority
- Recommend financial services solutions based upon needs identified through clients' financial statement analysis
