Job Summary
Oversees branch sales and operations, designs and implements strategic sales plans to expand the customer base, trains and monitors Outside Sales Representatives on cold calling, lead generation, and pricing, builds strong customer relationships, partners with Branch Operations Manager to direct distribution, HR, admin, and office functions, leads forecasting and financial planning for the branch, and collaborates with leadership to align with company direction and culture.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Business Administration or related field
- Experience in managing business operations and leading sales and operations teams
- Leadership and HR management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of tile/flooring or building materials industry is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement strategic sales plans
- Ability to forecast and manage branch financial results
- Strong customer relationship and service orientation
- Ability to train and develop sales personnel
- Ability to manage distribution operations and order management
- Ability to work in a loud environment and handle physical requirements as described
