Job Summary
Branch Manager I responsible for leading branch operations, driving sales of bank services, coaching and supervising staff, and managing lending activities for commercial and retail loan applications. Works with Commercial Lending and Business Development teams to serve complex customer relationships, implements bank policies, and ensures adherence to federal/state banking regulations. Key duties include community outreach, employee development, performance reviews, back-up support for tellers and bankers, and maintaining a compliant, customer-focused environment. Requires lending authority, strong leadership, and ability to analyze and refer customers to appropriate banking products while upholding Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act requirements. Not remote-eligible; location: Fenton, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business-related major preferred or equivalent of three (3) years successful sales experience preferably in financial services
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years in banking or equivalent education
- Previous experience as Branch Manager, In-Store Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager
- NMLS
