Job Summary

Lead a branch team to acquire, deepen, and retain customer relationships while driving consistent growth in primary checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments. Coach and develop staff to execute sales behaviors, uncover financial needs, and recommend tailored solutions across consumer, business, and affluent segments. Balance growth objectives with operational risk management, compliance controls, and loss prevention to protect customers and the company. Partner with internal sales partners to coordinate comprehensive banking experiences and leverage digital options to enhance customer value. Manage performance through targeted coaching, observation, and feedback while taking ownership of talent decisions and risk mitigation. Requires Saturday work, up to 50% travel during the first six months, and completion of the Branch Manager Readiness Program.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
  • Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months
  • SAFE registration
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
  • Compliance with Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
  • Credit report review eligibility
  • Ongoing screening eligibility
  • Visa sponsorship not eligible
  • Knowledge of banking laws and regulations, including compliance controls, operational risk management, and loss prevention
  • Ability to model and reinforce behaviors that protect customers, employees, and the company

  • Ability to lead teams in influencing, educating, and connecting customers to technology
  • Articulating the value of digital banking solutions to enhance customer experience
