Job Summary
Branch Manager leads a high-performance team to meet and exceed customer service, sales, and financial goals within a community bank. Responsibilities include driving branch sales and service processes, coaching and mentoring staff to achieve sales/service success, expanding deposits and consumer loans, participating in marketing campaigns, deepening relationships across Home Mortgage, Commercial, and Trust & Wealth Management, planning and executing external business development events, and representing the bank in professional and community activities. Admin duties include staff hiring/training/performance assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk management, audit integrity, and managing branch budget. The role requires strong relationship-building with customers and peers, community involvement, and flexibility to work some evenings and a Saturday morning rotation. A four-year college degree is preferred; candidate should have supervisory and sales experience and be able to lift 50 pounds and count money.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of customer service experience at a community bank or equivalent
- supervisory experience
- successful sales background
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- dexterity to count money
- willingness to participate in evening and weekend hours (including Saturday rotation)
- college degree preferred
- local community knowledge preferred
- leadership and team development skills
