Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive assessments of branch operations to identify improvement areas, implement industry best practices, and optimize processes for productivity and cost reduction. Direct financial functions including P&L management, instituting rigorous controls to enhance profitability and secure sustainable revenue growth. Lead sales growth by devising strategic plans, fostering strong customer relationships, and steering teams to surpass market share goals. Cultivate a high-performing team through talent development strategies, succession planning, and fostering an inclusive environment. Uphold legal, regulatory, and safety standards across all branch operations while championing continuous improvement and change management initiatives. Manage direct reports in sales, operations, and administration to drive branch transformation, requiring travel to oversee operations and attend regional meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience

  • Demonstrated ability to champion a culture of continuous improvement and effectively manage change
  • Skilled in facilitating the adoption of new processes and technologies
  • Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and safety standards pertinent to branch operations
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in management within distribution or building products industry
  • Required to travel as needed to oversee branch operations, conduct site visits, and attend regional meetings and training sessions
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while engaging in computer-based tasks and attending meetings
  • Ability to move throughout the branch to observe operations and interact with team members
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to lift materials and equipment up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to drive or fly to different branch locations and customer worksites
  • On-site presence is essential to lead teams, foster a high-performance culture, and oversee branch operations
  • Ability to excel at managing turnaround challenges, collaborating across functions, and executing strategic plans that deliver measurable improvements under tight timelines
