Job Summary
Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the branch’s operations and performance, including managing staff, ensuring efficient logistics operations, maintaining customer satisfaction, and achieving financial targets. The role involves collaborating with the sales team to execute sales strategy, building and maintaining a book of business, providing executive coaching to the team, driving profitability through entrepreneurial leadership, fostering customer and vendor relationships, improving KPIs, and ensuring compliance with global and local policies. The position requires strong financial acumen, leadership, communication, and the ability to manage change in a high-paced environment while delivering value to customers and the Hellmann brand.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Logistics and Supply Chain, Transportation, or related) or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 15 – 20 years of experience in freight forwarding with some sales/account management experience preferred
- 7-10 years of supervisory experience
- Completion of any industry related course is an asset
