Job Summary
Coordinate and direct daily branch operations, including staffing, training, and employee relations to ensure efficient service delivery. Coach frontline staff on product sales to meet objectives while maintaining a positive, high-performing team environment. Manage overall branch activities within federal, state, and internal compliance frameworks, including Bank Secrecy Act and Fair Lending regulations. Utilize continuous process improvement to streamline operations and drive strategic initiatives. This role reports to the Senior Retail Manager within the Retail Operations department. The position involves periodic stressful conditions and may require adjusted schedules, overtime, and evening or weekend hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of financial services or retail experience
- Minimum two (2) years of general management experience
- Minimum three (3) years with demonstrated success selling products within a retail banking environment or financial services industry
- Must be bondable
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet goals and deadlines
- Ability to work with members and staff tactfully and professionally, both in-person and via phone
- Experience coaching and motivating staff
- Ability to think strategically as well as tactically while continually seeking sales, service and operations delivery efficiencies
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Must be available for an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening/weekend hours
- Ability to effectively and accurately explain complex information
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
