Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate all branch staff activities, ensuring compliance with laws and a safe workplace environment while meeting annual EBIT, sales, and inventory goals. Hire, supervise, and appraise employees across counter sales, warehouse, and delivery roles; review work processes for effectiveness and plan schedules to manage fluctuating workloads. Lead sales meetings monthly, review territory revenue, and develop pricing strategies for new or existing products. Manage daily operations including greeting customers within two minutes, ensuring 100% order accuracy, processing invoices, and depositing cash receipts. Maintain inventory by posting receipts daily, conducting weekly reviews, and correcting negative quantities, while establishing preventive maintenance plans for equipment. Coordinate collections with the credit department and monitor accounts receivable aging weekly.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy duty truck parts industry
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position
- Valid drivers' license with clean driving record
- OSHA approved steel toed safety shoes
