Job Summary
Conduct branch operations by performing monthly teller audits, end-of-day cash balancing, and ATM administration while maintaining adequate cash supplies. Provide guidance, coaching, and development to direct reports, including hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as required. Review and underwrite consumer loans within assigned parameters, hold employees to service standards regarding punctuality and policy compliance, and develop contacts within FedEx for business development. Maintain regulatory compliance including the Bank Secrecy Act, ensure strict confidentiality, and participate in ongoing training. Travel to out-of-state locations for training or meetings 3-4 times per year.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- At least five years financial institution experience
- Understanding of credit union philosophy
- Knowledge of rules and regulations
- Three years of supervisory experience of a minimum of two employees
- Three years of consumer lending experience
- Underwriting experience
- Mortgage experience
- Possession of NMLS number
- Ability to obtain NMLS number
- Proficiency in Microsoft Products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
