Job Summary
Branch Manager Trainee at Farmers Insurance agency seeking an entrepreneurial, leadership-oriented individual to grow agency performance. Responsibilities include generating new business via inbound/outbound sales (phone, text, email, and virtual outreach), conducting cold and warm calls to build a robust sales pipeline, following up on inquiries and leads, building community relationships and referral networks, meeting with clients to review coverages and provide tailored insurance solutions, educating clients on coverage options and risk exposure, delivering strong service through policy changes and claims support, identifying cross-sell opportunities, maintaining accurate activity and pipeline data in CRM, staying current on Farmers products and guidelines, and helping the team achieve production targets. Licenses in Michigan Property & Casualty and Life, Accident & Health insurance are required or must be obtained; pre-licensing support is available. The role emphasizes hands-on learning across operations and sales with a pathway to leadership and long-term career growth, in-office in Charlotte, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Active Michigan Property & Casualty and Life, Accident & Health insurance licenses, or willingness to obtain them within a specified timeframe
