Job Summary
Branch Manager in False Creek at BMO leads branch operations, drives sales and service excellence, develops and executes the branch business plan to maximize growth and wallet share, builds and develops a high-performing team, cultivates relationships with customers and community partners, collaborates with internal stakeholders to capitalize on referrals and cross-sell opportunities, ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and coaches staff to achieve customer experience and profitability goals. The role requires deep knowledge of personal banking and credit card products, strong leadership and coaching capabilities, strategic planning and budgeting, and the ability to analyze issues, make data-driven decisions, and communicate goals and plans across the organization. Qualifications include a post-secondary degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience, plus supervisory experience and extensive product and regulatory knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services
- In-depth knowledge of the competitive marketplace and trends in product offerings
- In-depth knowledge of branch operational processes and policies
- In-depth knowledge of branch technologies, processes, and performance metrics
- In-depth knowledge of applicable regulations, audit standards, and related policies, procedures, and directives
