Job Summary
Oversee branch operations at the Alameda facility, managing budgets, labor utilization, and equipment and facilities expenses while ensuring compliance with DOT, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Hire, train, and develop personnel; conduct performance management and ensure a safe workplace. Collaborate with Corporate H&S on safety programs and incident investigations, pursue customer relationships, and develop strategies with Sales resources. Develop branch quotes, review quotes for accuracy, ensure timely invoicing, and monitor project scopes to maintain margins. Build and maintain community and regulatory relationships and track operational metrics to meet revenue goals. Lead with a focus on safe, compliant, and efficient operations, while driving continuous improvement and safe work practices across the unit.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of progressively responsible hazardous waste management experience
- Minimum 3 years of supervisor experience
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and programs
- Experience managing budgets, expenses, and labor utilization
- Ability to hire and train personnel and conduct performance reviews
- Capability to develop customer relationships and meet revenue goals
- Understanding of DOT, maintenance, and safety compliance for facilities/equipment
