Job Summary
Lead branch team to deliver sales, service, and operational excellence. Identify and meet customer financial needs by delivering tailored consumer and business solutions across checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments. Provide strong, inclusive leadership with targeted coaching to improve banker productivity, while balancing growth with risk management and compliance. Collaborate with internal partners to maximize the Wells Fargo experience across Wealth & Investment Management, Business Banking, and Home Lending, and promote digital banking options. Demonstrate ownership through performance management, accountability, and implementation of risk controls to protect customers, employees, and the company. Lead a high-performing branch culture focused on customer value and branch performance. This role involves a schedule that includes Saturdays and travel up to 50% in the early period, with onboarding through the Branch Manager Readiness Program.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Ability to hire, coach, and develop sales professionals and direct reports (Desired Qualifications)
- Demonstrated ability to lead a customer-focused sales culture, driving measurable growth through coaching, accountability, disciplined execution, and taking ownership of performance outcomes, talent decisions, and risk management
- Ability to analyze performance, identify strengths and opportunities, and execute action plans to achieve business objectives
- Experience leading teams in affluent, high net worth, and business customer segments
- Knowledge of banking laws and regulations, with the ability to model and reinforce risk/compliance behaviors
- Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
- Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% during the first 6 months
- SAFE registration is required at the time of employment
