Job Summary
Hands-on Branch Manager role overseeing the branch's overall performance, including business development, bank product sales, customer service excellence, and regulatory compliance. Responsible for planning and monitoring branch activities to meet annual goals, soliciting new business, training staff, managing branch operations and assets, preparing financial/regulatory reports, representing the bank in community functions, and supervising staff. Requires bilingual Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) and strong supervisory, lending/product knowledge, balance-sheet literacy, and ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and teams.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 5 years of functional/professional experience
- 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience
- 3-5 years related experience and/or training including strong commercial lending or product knowledge
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret balance sheets
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, customers, and the general public
- Bilingual Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
