Job Summary
Lead a branch team to acquire, deepen, and retain customer relationships while driving growth in primary checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments. Coach and develop staff to proactively identify financial needs, deliver tailored solutions, and improve productivity through observation and feedback. Balance sales objectives with operational risk management to protect customers, employees, and the company. Partner with internal sales partners to maximize relationship depth and wallet share while educating customers on digital banking options. Work a schedule including Saturdays and travel up to 50% of the time during the first six months. Complete the Branch Manager Readiness Program before transitioning to the permanent role.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
- Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months
- SAFE registration
- Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
- Compliance with Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
- Credit report review eligibility
- Ongoing screening eligibility
- No Visa sponsorship eligibility
- Effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures
- Fulfilling risk and compliance obligations
