Job Summary
Manage a branch office with deposits under $50 million, overseeing daily operations including staff supervision, security controls, and adherence to federal and state regulations. Direct branch activities to promote growth by calling on existing clients, conducting cold calls, and maintaining logs of sales visits. Extend credit to businesses and individuals within lending authority, processing home equity and installment loans, and resolving complex customer transactions. Represent the Bank at civic functions to enhance image and develop additional business while ensuring accurate preparation of branch reports. Maintain awareness of market economic characteristics and financial industry trends to inform senior management of significant changes.
Required Qualifications
- Over 10 years of branch banking experience
- The ability to effectively develop business within your market area with proven results of successfully meeting individual and branch goals
- Active participation in community activities and service organizations
- Effective management skills
- ability to motivate and coach employees
- ability to substantiate recommendations for salary increases and promotions
- ability to discipline as needed
- Thorough knowledge of Retail Banking operations
- responsibility for all Branch reports

- Completed the Management Development Core – In-House Curriculum

- Ability to participate in any other educational activities deemed necessary
