Job Summary
Drive branch growth, portfolio performance, and profitability through loan production, tax preparation growth, customer retention, and delinquency management. Generate new business via customer outreach, referrals, and community engagement while evaluating and approving lending decisions. Oversee collections efforts, lead and develop a high-performing team, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Handle escalated customer concerns and make sound business decisions to support branch success. This bilingual role requires independent bank runs for deposits and occasional weekend work. Successful Branch Managers are often considered for District Manager roles within World Finance's network of over 1,000 branches.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Current insurance
- Ability to obtain required insurance licensing
- Ability to independently perform all required bank runs, including transporting deposits, without relying on non-employees for transportation
- At least one year of management experience or successful completion of management training program
- Experience achieving sales, portfolio growth, or profitability goals
- Experience making lending, collection, or customer account decisions
- Experience managing delinquency, collections, or portfolio performance
- Experience managing branch, store, or business operations
- Experience leading and developing employees
- Proven ability to generate business through community involvement, networking, customer referrals, and outbound calling activity
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment that includes customer outreach, collections, and sales activities
- Regular in-person attendance during scheduled work hours
- Occasional extended hours or weekend work
- Ability to perform computer work, handle documents, and communicate information effectively
- Professionalism, adaptability, collaboration, and multitasking
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and electronically
- Occasional local travel to offsite locations and banks
