Job Summary
Conduct art teaching for children during term time and holiday programs, managing a 50% teaching split alongside 25% class preparation and 25% administration. Monitor student progress to create personalized learning plans while maintaining a safe, nurturing studio environment. Manage studio operations including art materials, mentor the team, and coordinate community events to promote the brand. Utilize the booking system for GDPR compliance and uphold child safeguarding policies. Deliver engaging, skill-based programmes tailored to individual needs within high teacher-student ratios.
Required Qualifications
- Holds an art degree or equivalent experience across a range of artistic mediums
- Has experience teaching or working with children in an educational or creative setting
- Possesses strong communication skills, including the ability to empathise with others, to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Exhibits a positive, proactive attitude and works well both independently and as part of a team
- Available to work the full schedule
- Able to start on 10 August 2026
- Ability to share commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults
- Ability to complete all pre-appointment checks
