Job Summary
Develop and implement business development strategies to surpass revenue and profitability goals across freight forwarding, warehousing, and supply chain solutions. Proactively identify market trends to secure new business opportunities, lead negotiations for RFQs and bids, and cultivate strategic partnerships with key accounts. Assume full ownership of the branch's financial performance, managing budgeting, forecasting, and cost control while monitoring key performance indicators. Serve as the principal liaison for strategic customers, overseeing service delivery and representing the brand in industry forums. Build and develop a high-performing workforce through coaching and mentorship, fostering a culture of accountability, safety adherence, and innovation. Requires 8 years of progressive leadership experience in logistics branch management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 8 years of progressive leadership experience in branch management or commercial roles within freight forwarding or logistics sectors
- Proven success in business development, customer acquisition, managing key accounts, and driving sustained revenue growth
- Experience with full profit and loss responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial performance to meet branch targets effectively
- Outstanding commercial acumen combined with strong negotiation, pricing strategies, and stakeholder management skills to maximize value creation
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing, coaching, and inspiring teams
- Excellent analytical and strategic decision-making skills
