Job Summary
Drive revenue growth and manage the full P&L for the Greenville, NC branch by overseeing sales, customer service, cylinder distribution, and warehouse operations. Lead a high-performing team across inside sales, counter support, and distribution roles through recruitment, training, and weekly meetings focused on sales goals and continuous improvement. Enforce strict safety compliance with DOT, OSHA, and Hazmat regulations while championing a culture of accountability and immaculate housekeeping standards. Optimize local delivery routes, manage cylinder inventory and assets, and ensure safe forklift operations to maintain efficient material movement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or Supply Chain
- 3–5+ years of progressive leadership experience in industrial supply, retail distribution, welding supply, or cylinder gas operations
- Demonstrated familiarity with welding equipment, consumables, safety equipment, and industrial gases
- Hands-on experience with inventory management, route delivery dispatching/optimization, and safe forklift operation
- Strong working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and Hazmat regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suites
- Forklift certification

- Strong financial acumen with experience managing a branch P&L, gross margins, and operating expenses

- ERP/CRM inventory software (SAP experience is strongly preferred)
