Job Summary
Manage a team delivering exceptional client experiences by leading advice and leveraging RBC's full capability to meet client needs and financial circumstances. Champion digital enablement by proactively educating clients to self-serve while modeling key behaviors with an emphasis on teamwork. Strategically manage capacity across the Advisor team, leveraging skills and understanding of traffic flow to drive client contacts. Remain locally connected by actively engaging clients inside and outside the branch, effectively motivating the team and RBC Partners to proactively connect with Clients and Centers of Influence. Develop and coach your team on improving proficiency and capability, focusing on employee movement to drive performance and enable future career progression.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
- Completed Branch Compliance Officer course offered by the Canadian Securities Institute, or ability to write an exam within 4 months of start date
- Entrepreneurial business acquisition mindset
- Minimum 3 years in a people management role
- Canada (excluding Quebec): Completed Designated Financial Services Advisor (DFSA) designation, offered through the Canadian Securities Institute (i.e. Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I)
- Quebec: Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance, offered through the Canadian Securities Institute (i.e. Fundamentals of Personal Finance – Quebec, Investment and Taxation Fundamentals – Quebec, Insurance and Retirement – Quebec)
