Job Summary
Lead and manage branch operations to ensure goals are met, compliance with banking laws, and an excellent customer experience reflective of U.S. Bank culture. Coach, develop, mentor, and train team members while exercising independent judgement to identify financial resources for customers and recommend appropriate products and services. Act as the primary leader for customer experience, motivate the team, expand the customer base, and promote local market community needs to drive business insights and achieve objectives. This role requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including a criminal background and credit check. A Bachelor's degree and four to five years of experience in sales, retail management, or banking are required. The position involves working five days per week at a U.S. Bank location in Coos Bay, OR, with a pay range of $91,440.00 - $111,760.00.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Four to five years of experience working in a sales, retail management, or banking environment
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced product/service knowledge and thorough knowledge of regulatory, policy and compliance issues
- Solid understanding of retail product philosophy, including policies, procedures, documentation, and systems
- Thorough knowledge of teller and platform functions, including but not limited to processing transactions, balancing cash, opening accounts, and sales techniques
- Effective analytical skills to evaluate credit requests, prepare budgets and determine trends in a given marketplace
- Strong interpersonal communication, leadership, relationship management, time management, sales activities management, and sales ability skills
- Ability to evaluate and resolve problems and issues with minimal guidance
- Demonstrated success in retail sales environment
- Working knowledge of employment practices including rewards and recognition, employee development, and change management
