Job Summary
Lead and manage branch operations to ensure goals are met while demonstrating an excellent customer experience reflective of U.S. Bank culture. Coach, develop, mentor, and train team members through adaptive coaching and real-time feedback, utilizing critical thinking to identify financial resources and recommend appropriate products and services. Act as the primary leader for customer experience, expanding the customer base by promoting local market needs and collaborating with wealth, business banking, and mortgage partners. Resolve conflicts using rigorous logic and de-escalation techniques while maintaining accountability for decisions and outcomes. Ensure full compliance with all banking laws, regulations, and NMLS registration requirements. Requires a Bachelor's degree, three to four years of experience in sales or retail management, and five days per week availability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to four years of experience working in a sales, retail management, or banking environment
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
Desired Qualifications
- Thorough product/service knowledge and thorough knowledge of regulatory, policy and compliance issues
- Solid understanding of retail product philosophy, including policies, procedures, documentation, and systems
- Thorough knowledge of teller and platform functions, including but not limited to processing transactions, balancing cash, opening accounts, and sales techniques
- Effective analytical skills to evaluate credit requests, prepare budgets and determine trends in a given marketplace
- Effective interpersonal communication, leadership, relationship management, time management, sales activities management, and sales ability skills
- Ability to evaluate and resolve problems and issues with minimal guidance
- Demonstrated success in retail sales environment
- Working knowledge of employment practices including rewards and recognition, employee development, and change management
