Job Summary
Branch Leader role responsible for managing all aspects of the assigned branch, driving branch performance through leadership, coaching, and business development, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and risk management policies. Leads human capital decisions (hiring, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, scheduling), collaborates with IRM and operations, and may cross-train to assist with teller transactions. Responsibilities include promoting the branch’s public image in the community, driving revenue through small business development and client strategies, conducting face-to-face client appointments, outbound calling and prospecting, and building the Truist brand through community involvement. Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years financial services/small business experience, 1+ year branch leadership experience, strong interpersonal and written/verbal skills, and SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance within 30 days. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience
- Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience and/or performance
- One year of previous branch leadership or management experience
- Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS background check
- Ability to inspire, lead and coach others
