Job Summary
Lead branch operations and drive performance by coaching and managing the team, and develop new business through Small Business and Mass Affluent client strategies. Promote Truist’s purpose and values, ensure compliance with internal controls, risk management policies, and bank procedures. Manage human capital including interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, and workforce scheduling; may cross-train to assist teller transactions. Engage with the community to enhance the branch’s public image and drive business development through face-to-face client appointments, outbound calling, and prospecting. Collaborate with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) and Operations partners to ensure One Team culture and adherence to ethics. Lead and motivate the branch team to achieve client financial success and strong team performance; participate in civic and business groups to prospect and develop new business while supporting branch routines and development planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience
- Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience and/or performance
- One year of previous branch leadership or management experience
- Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS background check
- Ability to inspire, lead and coach others
