Job Summary
Branch Leader I/II leads all aspects of the assigned York branch, driving branch performance through coaching, business development, and human capital management. Responsibilities include managing operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and risk policies, interviewing and hiring, conducting performance reviews, workforce scheduling, cross-training to assist with teller transactions, and building the Truist brand through community engagement and client-facing activities. The role emphasizes developing Small Business and Mass Affluent client strategies, collaborating with IRM and Operations, and delivering both team and individual performance through proactive relationship management and strategic business development. Strong leadership, sales and relationship-building skills, and Mortgage licensing compliance are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience
- Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience and/or performance
- One year of previous branch leadership or management experience
- Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS background check
- Ability to inspire, lead and coach others
