Job Summary
Run the branch independently in the absence of the Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager while performing all duties of a Financial Service Specialist I, II, and III. Effectively address member escalations, resolve concerns, and provide functional guidance to Financial Service Specialists. Conduct audits, balance accounts, manage ATM and TCR cash, and ensure daily quality control of branch work and new account/loan records. Assist with coaching, training, and motivating staff on cross-selling products, loan and deposit services, and leadership development. Provide notary and medallion stamp services, participate in external marketing events, and maintain knowledge of all policies including robbery, Bank Secrecy Act, and Money Laundering regulations. Work a fixed 37/40-hour schedule with alternating off days.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Five to seven years' advanced experience in branch operations in a credit union or bank
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of financial services products and basic lending practice
- Demonstrated sales ability in either a financial institution or retail store
- Demonstrated computer skills and familiarity with software programs such as Word, Excel, MeridianLink Loans PQ and LendingPad
- Demonstrated inter-personal communication and member contact skills, by email and telephone
