Job Summary
Separate, label, and verify incoming freight deliveries while stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory. Locate and pull stock for outgoing orders, then package finished products for shipping through shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling. Use the computer system to track tasks and clean the work area, ensuring equipment is turned off and locked out when not in use. This physically demanding role requires standing, lifting, and carrying products up to 50 lbs, with occasional overtime and as-needed travel.
Required Qualifications
- Computer skills – must be able to check email and complete online training courses
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in order to accurately complete job tasks
- Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements
- Some overtime work may be scheduled and required
- As needed for the role
Desired Qualifications
- Prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred
- Experience using a materials requirement planning system (MRP) such as AS400 preferred
