Job Summary
General Warehouse Team Member responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving materials throughout the warehouse, stocking and maintaining inventory, locating and pulling stock for outgoing deliveries, packaging finished products for shipping, and preparing orders for delivery. The role involves standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing ladders, and using equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, and conveyors. Requires basic math, ability to follow a computer-based system to locate stock (MRP/AS400), strong communication with co-workers, and adherence to safety practices; occasional overtime may be scheduled. This position is a full-time, hands-on role focused on ensuring efficient material flow and accurate order fulfillment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in order to accurately complete job tasks
- Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements
- Prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred
- Experience using a materials requirement planning system (MRP) such as AS400 preferred
- Computer skills – must be able to check email and complete online training courses
