Job Summary
Separate, label, and verify incoming freight deliveries while using the computer system to locate products and stock inventory. Pull stock for outgoing orders, package finished products for shipping, and maintain warehouse inventory levels. Load and unload trucks, move materials throughout the facility, and safely operate material-handling equipment. Clean and maintain the work area, turn off and lock out equipment when not in use, and perform other duties as assigned. Some overtime work may be scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Computer skills – must be able to check email and complete online training courses
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in order to accurately complete job tasks
- Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements
- As needed for the role
Desired Qualifications
- Prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred
- Experience using a materials requirement planning system (MRP) such as AS400 preferred
