Job Summary
Investigate, evaluate, and settle entry-level insurance claims through the full life-cycle, including loss adjustment, policy study, and claim resolution. Serve agents, insureds, and third parties by communicating with claimants, legal counsel, and others to ensure accurate and timely settlements. Complete the company's claims training program and develop negotiation and settlement skills while maintaining confidentiality and data security. Obtain and maintain an adjuster's license as required by statute.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or direct equivalent experience with property/casualty claims handling
- Ability to drive an automobile, possess a valid driver license, and maintain a driving record consistent with the Company's underwriting guidelines for coverage
- Study, obtain, and maintain an adjuster's license(s), if required by statute within the timeline established by the Company or legal requirements
- Ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
