Job Summary
Lead and develop a diverse team of high-performing direct reports within the National Branch Network, fostering engagement and accountability to business outcomes. Execute policies and procedures aligned with applicable regulations, manage operational excellence, and allocate people and financial resources for the branch. Review and analyze basic business, operational, or technical assignments requiring independent judgment to guide medium-risk deliverables, while presenting recommendations for resolving complex situations. Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to drive growth and enhance the customer experience through coaching specific behaviors. Participate in less complex initiatives to identify process improvements within the Branch Banking functional area. Enroll in the DOL Registered Apprentice Program for structured on-the-job training, coursework, and mentorship under supervision.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of finance or budgetary experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Enrollment into Wells Fargo's DOL Registered Apprentice Program
- SAFE registration at the time of employment
- Current or previous Military experience
- Military experience in a customer facing role
- Relevant military experience including working in personnel benefits management, processing military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources or military recruiting
- Leadership experience including coaching, training, developing and building a high performing team
- Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and internal partners
- Extensive experience in asking questions and identifying complex financial needs in order to provide recommendations on products and services to customers
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customer and team members
- Ability to effectively manage time and competing priorities, exercise independent judgment, and use critical thinking skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
- Knowledge and understanding of compliance controls, risk management and loss prevention
- Relevant military experience including working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting
Desired Qualifications
- Military experience in any branch of service: Army, National Guard, Air Force, Space Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard or Reserves
- 2+ years of leadership experience
