Job Summary
Branch Assistant provides comprehensive operational support across the branch, including sign shop production and signage design, inventory management, equipment maintenance, fleet support, and customer service. Responsibilities include producing MUTCD-compliant signage, operating sign shop equipment, applying decals/graphics to vehicles and equipment, collaborating with estimators/project management, managing inventory, performing basic warehouse/yard operations, maintaining fleet records, assisting with permits and after-hours work, and providing basic customer service and rentals support. Requires hands-on, detail-oriented execution across multiple functions in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of MUTCD standards, warehouse operations, sign design software, basic construction tools, and customer service skills are essential. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of related experience preferred in warehouse, sign shop, or construction support
